Consumer Feedback on hCG Drops
There are more than enough of these to convince one that extreme weight loss is possible. Some consumers report weight loss of up to 60 pounds and have pictures posted online to prove it. To say that these ‘biggest losers’ are happy with the results of the hCG diet would be an understatement. The before and after pics are encouraging. No-one looks half-starved or wasted, you see pictures of healthy, happy people with good muscle mass and big smiles, but are all hCG diet experiences this positive?
If you’re going to look for negative reviews, you’re not going to have to look too far. Unfortunately, all of these reviews don’t give enough detail. The most common problem reported is that the weight returns plus some extra when the diet is over. Now, if you’ve done your homework, you know that the diet is never quite over. One of the phases of the hCG diet is specifically targeted at finding the right amount of calories to keep your energy levels up whilst still staying slimmer. None of the critics even mention this vital phase of the diet, probably because they never attempted it.
Another problem is that most of the reviews also don’t detail what sort of hCG they used. If they used homeopathic drops, for instance, you can be sure that hCG doesn’t play a role since homeopathy entails dilution of active principles to an almost undetectable level. There’s no logical reason why your body should suddenly start producing hCG just because you aren’t really taking any or are taking so little that it won’t make any difference.
So What’s the End Result?
As long as you stick to the program, you’re bound to lose weight on the hCG diet. Even its critics recognize this. The important thing is to stick to the hCG diet until its conclusion – that’s not just eight weeks of watching what you eat. You’re going to address the reason why you were overweight in the first place, so you’re looking at a major change in your eating habits. If you’re not willing to do this, you shouldn’t try the hCG diet.
